Our Technology: Screw-Driven Home Lifts
Cibes uses screw-driven technology for its home lifts. A compact, self-locking drive that moves the cabin with precision and needs no machine room (MRL) and little or no pit (pitless). The lift comes with its own modular shaft, so installation is clean and flexible even in tight stairwells or through-floor layouts. The result is smooth, quiet operation, low maintenance, and reliable performance engineered to strict European safety standards.
Compared with traction or hydraulic systems, a screw-driven home elevator removes bulky counterweights and oils, reducing structural work and ongoing upkeep while keeping strong load options for real homes. Furthermore, as opposed to vacuum lifts, Cibes lifts go the extra mile in terms of safety by offering a tempered laminated glass shaft and a constant attachment point: the screw. For villas, townhouses, and penthouses, it’s the most space-efficient residential lift; premium finishes outside, proven Swedish engineering inside.
