Ascenda M at G+1 private villa in Ajman

Why did the client need a lift?

• Multi-storey home convenience
• Ageing in place / future-proofing

The homeowner wanted a more comfortable and convenient way for family members to move between the villa's two floors. Adding a home lift also improves accessibility and makes the property more practical for future mobility needs.

Was it a new build or a renovation?

• Retrofit into an existing building

Existing villa (retrofit installation). The Cibes Ascenda was added to a completed G+1 villa in Ajman.

What were the challenges and requirements?

The main requirements were to find a lift that would fit the available space within the staircase void and could be delivered sooner than other models. The medium-sized Ascenda matched the available dimensions, allowing the lift to be positioned beside the existing staircase. Its design also needed to suit the villa's classical architectural features and interior finishes.

Why was the Ascenda chosen?

The Cibes Ascenda was selected for its compact dimensions, simple and elegant design, and faster availability. Since a suitable unit was already in local stock, the homeowner could avoid the longer manufacturing and shipping lead time associated with a made-to-order lift. Its white finish and panoramic glass shaft also suited the villa's interior.

What else is notable about this project?

The lift is positioned within the villa's curved staircase, surrounded by marble flooring, decorative wrought-iron railings, and large windows. Its transparent shaft allows natural light to pass through, while the white framing blends with the surrounding walls. This project is also an example of how an available stock model can meet a homeowner's space and design requirements while reducing the waiting time before installation.
