A two-stop Cibes V80 home lift was installed in a newly built luxury villa on Jubail Island, Abu Dhabi, to provide comfortable and convenient access between floors. Since the lift was not included in the original building plans, finding a suitable installation space was a challenge. The solution was to position the lift near the main entrance and construct a connecting bridge at the upper level, allowing the homeowner to add a lift without major changes to the original floor layout.

The main challenge was the lack of a suitable space for a lift in the original building layout. Rather than making extensive changes to the floor plan, the lift was positioned in a corner near the main entrance. A connecting bridge was then constructed at the upper level to provide access from the lift landing to the existing floor.
The Cibes V80 was chosen for its compact, space-saving design and self-contained shaft, which made it easier to integrate into a building that had not originally been planned for a lift. Unlike conventional lift systems that typically require a dedicated shaft and more extensive structural preparation, the Cibes V80 could be installed with fewer building modifications. Its panoramic glass design also suited the villa's modern architecture.
One of the most interesting features of this installation is the connecting bridge at the upper floor. This allowed the lift to be positioned away from the main upper-level walkway while still providing direct access to it. The glass bridge enclosure, panoramic lift shaft, and neutral finishes also work well with the villa's bright, open interior. The project shows how thoughtful architectural adjustments can make a home lift possible even when it was not considered during the early design stage.
