What were the challenges and requirements?

The homeowner's main requirement was to have the lift delivered as quickly as possible. Fortunately, the villa had a suitable space in the middle of the staircase, allowing the compact V80 Rapido to fit without major changes to the existing layout. Its standard white finish also matched the surrounding interior.

Why was the Cibes V80 chosen?

The Cibes V80 Rapido was selected primarily for its shorter manufacturing lead time. Rapido is available in selected standard sizes and finishes, allowing faster production compared with more customized configurations. The available dimensions were also well suited to the staircase void, making it a practical choice for the existing villa.

What else is notable about this project?

The lift is positioned within the central staircase opening, making good use of an area that was already available. Its panoramic glass shaft allows natural light to pass through, while the white framing blends with the home's clean interior design. The project is a good example of how a standard lift configuration can meet both practical and design requirements when space and timing are favorable.
