Cibes V80 Elegance Installation in G+1 Villa in Meadows

Why did the client need a lift?

• Multi-storey home convenience
• Home renovation upgrade

The homeowner wanted a more comfortable and convenient way for family members to move between the villa's two floors. The lift also improves accessibility and makes the home more practical for long-term use.

Was it a new build or a renovation?

• Renovation

Villa renovation (retrofit installation). The Cibes V80 Elegance was added to an existing G+1 villa in The Meadows, Dubai, as part of the home's renovation.

What were the challenges and requirements?

There were no significant space limitations, as the villa had a generous opening in the middle of the staircase. The main requirement was to make good use of this space without occupying the entire area. The Cibes V80's space-efficient design allowed for a large platform while leaving approximately 20% of the available space for other interior design elements.

Why was the Cibes V80 chosen?

The Cibes V80 Elegance was selected for its premium appearance, spacious platform, and ability to fit naturally within the villa's staircase layout. Its compact screw-driven system makes efficient use of the available footprint, while the panoramic glass shaft and dark framing complement the home's contemporary architecture and interior finishes.

What else is notable about this project?

One interesting detail is how the homeowner made use of the staircase void. Rather than installing a lift that occupied the entire opening, the chosen V80 size provides ample passenger space while preserving room for decorative features. The transparent shaft also maintains visual connections between the staircase and surrounding living areas, allowing the lift to become part of the home's interior design.
