This two-stop Cibes V90 Galaxy was installed in a newly built villa, where the homeowner had three clear reasons for adding a lift: making upstairs bedrooms accessible for visiting parents, preparing the home for future needs, and making good use of the available space. After researching different lift technologies, he chose a screw-driven cabin lift for its space efficiency and long-term maintenance considerations. The installation also includes a child lock feature to help prevent his young daughter from using the lift without supervision.
The homeowner wanted his visiting parents to reach the upstairs bedrooms comfortably without having to use the stairs. He also saw the lift as a practical way to prepare his home for future accessibility needs while making good use of the space already available.
Newly built villa. The lift was installed in a new residential property with a suitable space already available for installation.
There were no major installation challenges, as the villa had sufficient space to accommodate the lift. One important requirement was child safety. With a young daughter at home, the homeowner requested a child lock feature to help prevent unsupervised lift use.
The homeowner had carefully researched home lift technologies before making his decision. He understood the space-saving benefits of screw-driven lifts compared with conventional traction systems, as well as their potential advantages in long-term maintenance costs. He selected the Cibes V90 Galaxy, a premium cabin lift from the V-Series, combining these practical benefits with a distinctive interior design.
What makes this project interesting is the homeowner's approach to planning. Rather than waiting until accessibility became a necessity, he considered the needs of his visiting parents, his young family, and the home's future use. The V90 Galaxy's panoramic glass shaft and distinctive cabin finishes also add a design element to the staircase area.
